DAOS Internal-Use End-User License Agreement
Effective date: November 7, 2026.
Parties and permitted users
This agreement governs authorized internal use of the District Analyst DAOS QuickBooks integration provided by District Analyst, LLC. It applies to officers, employees, partners, contractors, and other individuals expressly authorized by District Analyst to use this private application for its business purposes.
Authorization to use the application does not confer an ownership interest in District Analyst, create an employment relationship, or authorize a person to bind the firm commercially.
Limited permission to use
District Analyst grants approved users a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable permission to access the integration for authorized internal work. Users may not resell, sublicense, publicly distribute, or grant access to the application or accounting data without separate authorization.
Users must not bypass access restrictions, impersonate another user, disclose credentials, introduce malicious code, or use accounting information for unrelated personal or third-party purposes. District Analyst may suspend or revoke access when a user's authorization ends or misuse is identified.
Company connection and account responsibilities
Only a person with the necessary authority may connect a QuickBooks company. Users must select and confirm the correct company and comply with the applicable Intuit account requirements. Users remain responsible for protecting their authentication accounts and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
Intuit and other service-provider terms remain applicable to their services. This agreement does not grant rights to Intuit software, trademarks, APIs, or data beyond those available under the applicable authorization and provider terms.
Functionality and accounting responsibility
The integration requests accounting reports for operational review and retains dated snapshots in DAOS. The current connector does not implement accounting-entry writes, payments, transfers, or automated financial commitments.
Reports may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or dependent on the connected company's configuration and entitlements. Users must check the displayed period, basis, currency, source timestamp, and coverage. An unavailable value is not zero. A balance-sheet amount is not a real-time bank balance.
The application does not replace QuickBooks as the accounting record or replace professional accounting, tax, legal, or financial judgment. Users must verify relevant figures against the accounting source before relying on them for a consequential decision. No availability or financial-result guarantee is made by these internal-use terms.
Existing approvals remain required
Access to financial data does not approve an opportunity, authorize submission of a proposal, accept a partner assignment, approve commercial terms, or authorize spending. Existing GO/NO-GO, partner acceptance, commercial approval, and final-submission controls continue to apply.
Data handling, support, and termination
The DAOS QuickBooks Integration Privacy Policy describes the integration's data handling. Users must respect the confidentiality of company and third-party information. The connected company retains its rights in its accounting information; this agreement transfers no ownership of that information to another user.
Authorized users may request disconnection and stop using the integration. Disconnection does not automatically erase retained snapshots or audit records. Data-removal requests follow the privacy policy and applicable retention requirements.
Support and questions: info@districtanalyst.com, District Analyst, LLC, 1717 K Street NW, Suite 900, Washington, DC 20006. Do not transmit credentials or financial reports in an ordinary support email.
District Analyst may update these terms with a new effective date and communicate material changes before applying them to authorized users. Nothing in these terms limits rights that applicable law does not permit the parties to limit.
